I have a blog?

I started a new position at work and I have to say I have a lot of free time... I was looking through friends blogs and realized I don't know when the last time I updated this was. I really want to/need to keep up on blogging. I want my kids to be able to look back and see all the fun things we have done! Life is amazing right now. Ty and I have finally came to a happy place in our marriage. It's not that we weren't happy the whole time, we have just come to better listen and understand each other. We are on the same page about the battles we need to have and the others that we need to let go. We have learned to manage both of us working full time jobs, dealing with 2 amazing fun kids, building a new house and putting in a yard. He is my best friend and I am so grateful for him in my life!
Payton- This sassy attitude girl is my best friend. She has started t-ball and she loves it! She is the only girl on her team and she has picked it up really fast I am so proud of her. She is also in preschool and loves to go. Her teacher also taught Ty when he was little. She is so smart she amazes me with how much she knows. She knows her abcs can count to 20 knows how to spell a few words and can recognize words as well.
Ryker- This little guy is getting so big! He can be so mean but then he is the sweetest. Hands down he gives the best hugs ever! He is learning more and more words. He loves anything that has to do with a ball and dirt. He loves going to uncle zachys and Payton's games. He always trys to run on the field! He is all boy and I love him!
We have lived in our new house for about 2 months now and. We have put in a fence and the sprinkler system and will have grass in this weekend and it can't come soon enough! Having 2 dogs and 2 kids with no yard is one messy house! I love that we moved so close to my parents they are amazing and I hope I am half the parent that they are to me! Hopefully when I get home from work I can upload some pics... Happy Tuesday!

Vent session.....

Fair warning this is going to be mainly a vent session, here it goes..... I am so sick tired of trying to do things for people and them turning around and being ungrateful and expect it of you. I have always been someone who loves to help people out. If you are a friend of mine I will drop things I need to get done to be there for you. I have come to learn in my short life so far that people will take advantage of this and when I finally don't have the energy to do it for a day or two I become the bad person?!? I am so sorry that I actually have bad days too and need a friend there... but anytime I need to vent you just tell me how much worse your life is and we have another pity party for you! I understand people go through things and they aren't quite themselves but reality is there is people that are like that all the time!! I am so tired of it and to these certain people I will always be there for you but maybe not the same way as in the past. Friendship just like any other relationship is a two way road.. both parties need to want it and not take advantage of the other person!
On the friendship note I have also been able to meet some new wonderful people! It's amazing how people come in your lifes when you need them the most! I am so grateful for new, old and lost friends. They all have taught me something along the way, even the bad ones. And for that I am forever grateful. I am feeling much better now that I had the chance to vent a little... Time to hang out with the family and enjoy the rest of this beautiful sunday : )

Internet in the house....

Finally after almost a year of Tyler asking me I finally agreed to get internet in the house... So here I am using the internet writing away while my sweet husband has cleaned the house, He even cleaned the toilets!! I know I haven't updated in quite some time so here is an update!

Tyler: He is still working at the same company he spent a while in Colorado. His company flew me out there to spend a weekend with him. Was so much fun and much needed just the two of us.

Payton: D-I-V-A!! She is our princess she is very, very, very strong willed little girl! She is starting dance up again next Thursday and she can not wait! She loves her little brother and also loves to beat him up! She learns so quick! She knows how to count, abc's, colors and she recognizes letters when she sees them. She will be starting school before I know it!

Ryker:  This handsome boy has taught me a whole new meaning of love! He just turned one last month and I can't believe how fast it has went! He is the happiest little boy. He is all over the place and into everything . He loves to play with his sister and pull her hair. He is a very cuddly boy and always interested in what people are doing. And boy oh boy can this boy eat!!! I'm not exaggerating when I say he eats more than his sister and mum combined! He has a bottomless pit, he is definatly not my pre-mature baby anymore!!

Me: I was able to recieve a new position at work as a Travel Counsler! I love, love my new position. After a year or even sooner I can work at home and there is so many places we could move to and I could still work! I also got a second job working at the track as a beer server. I don't consider this a job because it is so much fun and it's only a few hours and it will be over the end of sep. Other than that I am just trying to stay on top of laundry, dishes, bath time and the good mommy and wife stuff : )

By the time I have written this Ty has finished cleaning the kitchen, mopping and given me 20 are you going to get up and help me looks....So I am off for now.. Happy Monday!

Easter!

Anyone who knows me knows that I love holidays! It does not matter what holiday it is, I go all out! I love easter not just becuase it reminds me of spring but I am so grateful for my savior.. I know I do not say this enough but I know he lives and I know he cares! I know he does have a plan for me and even though at times I don't understand I can look back and later realize that was what was best for me at the time! I was raised Lds and I believe it does have a  lot of good values but I don't full heartly believe in it.. Ty and I are looking for different churches to go to. I am excited that he wants to go and learn and have our kids learn about our Heavenly Father! Easter is such a great reminder of his love and atonment and I am forever grateful for that! Now that I had my church spill lol the kids loved Easter and yes my hubby did get his own easter basket as well : ) He is spoiled he is like one of the kids! Payton got a new bike that she absolutly loves! She also got a dress, flip flops, coloring books and some school stuff! No candy in her easter basket : ) Ryker is a fat man! I love that little chunk! He is not even 9 months old yet and he is wearing 18 month old clothes and they are getting snug on him.. I love it!!! He got an outfit and lots of pudding and snacks and he couldn't of been more happier! Our plan was to get him a carseat but payton's old car seat is in such good condition I think he will just use that one for a little while : ) The kids were spoiled by my parents as usual! I am so grateful that they are the parents and grandparents that they are! They are the best and I am so grateful for everything they do for me and my family! I'm hoping to upload some pictures of our fun here soon so stay tunned : )

quick update

So once again I have not been very good at blogging! So just a brief update Payton has started preschool and she loves it! She gets so excited to go! She has been going about 2 weeks now and in that 2 weeks she has learned to spell her name and recognize letters! She is a smartie! I love how excited she gets when I pick her up and she wants to go see Ryker that she missed him and wants to tell him what she learned at school...she is such a sweetheart! Ryker is still a happy boy like always : ) He has 2 teeth now we didn't even know he was teething lol he is crawling and can say mom, dad, hi and ya. He loves his mommy and daddy but he loves his sister so much I can hear them talking to each other and they both get so excited when they see each other...  they are best friends and that makes this mommy very happy!!! I love my little family and I am so grateful for all the trials we have had that have given us the blessings we have now : ) That's all for now I have to get back to work! New Year

I know I have been horrible with blogging lately and there is so much that I want to write down and catch up! So hopefully this year I will be a little better!! This past year has brought a lot of ups and downs for my little family... First off I was married to my best friend in feb! He knows me better than I know myself! He knows when to just sit back and listen and he knows when to tell me to knock it off that I am over reacting I love that about him!! In July we were blessed with our sweet stud muffin!! Ryker Kenneth Scott Strickland! He is such a happy baby and so easy going! I am one lucky mamma both of my kids were super happy babies and slept really good for me! My little princess is not so little anymore!! She is the most opinionated little girl I have ever met! She is so strong willed and determined but at the same time she is the sweetest little girl that wants to cuddle mommy and help change her little brother and feed him. I love her so much! Words could never express the love I have for my kids! With the new years comes resolutions dun dun dun.... So here are my few I have made:
Stop with the gossip or walk away when people are talking about other people! I am so done with the high school stuff! I know I'm not perfect and had my fair share of gossip but it gets you no where!!
Running 5k's Ty and I are starting to train to run 5ks I know that's not far but when you haven't ran forever it seems like a good goal and I hope within the next year I will run my first marathon with my mamma : )
Be a better friend, Mamma and lover.. If I do this I know my whole year will be much better!!!

so thankful.....

I have been a little off the past month or so... I know its just a phase I'm going through. I just wanted to say I am one lucky girl to have a husband who stands by my side and helps me get through these phases even if it hurts him... I'm so grateful that he doesn't give up on me and does anything to make me happy! I do love you, Tyler!

Finally "really" happy!!

It has been forever since I have posted anything and I promise that I am going to be better!! We added a new bundle of joy to our lifes on July 10th.. Ryker Kenneth Scott Strickland! We love him so much so he is going to get his own post here shortly :) I just wanted to blog real quick that I am finally "really" happy!! In the past I have always been happy with my life but I just wasn't sure of where I was going or what I was doing... and in that time I was not a very good friend, lover or daughter. The other night I was sitting there feeding Ryker while Payton was doing my hair and talking to Tyler and it just hit me that I am really happy! I have found out who I am and what I want from life! I just feel at peace with myself... I don't know how to explain it.. It was like taking a ton of weight off my shoulders... I still am not perfect by any means! I still stress about things, I still say the wrong things, but that is me and I am really happy with that :) I love my little family and I love the family that we are becoming!! Tyler is seriously my best friend I tell him everything (even when it's bad things about him!) But I love how we can talk and have some really deep conversations... He gets me like no one else ever has! I love my kids more than anything in the world!! Payton has taught me so much about life, how she acts with her cousin Kenidee is so sweet and tender it always brings tears to my eyes to see her helping Kenidee and interacting with her. Whenever she sees me crying she always tells me "sweetheart it will all be ok, remeber laugh!" and she will start tickling me. That little girl is my rock and has got me through so much!! Our new little man Ryker is the sweetest thing ever! I love that he starts to cry and I just speak his name and his eyes light up and he starts to smile!! He is a strong little boy and is always smiling. He just has this thing about him that you know everything is going to be ok. God blessed me with 2 amazing kids! And now that I know who I really am I have been a better friend, a better mom, daughter and wife. I know I have rambled and probably haven't made much sense... it's hard for me to explain this feeling I am just really truly happy :)

Not feeling normal....

Today I am 27 weeks! I am super excited that this pregnancy has gone by as fast as it has but... this last week has been very hard for me..I went to the doc on Monday and he told me that everything looks fine but once I hit 30 weeks to be prepared at any time to have this baby!! He told me not to be stressed and to pretty much go to work and do nothing else.. well that is easier said then done when you have a 2 year old child I can't expect her to lay in bed all day with me! Well since Monday each day I feel more and more not like myself.. I get all ready for work hair and make-up and dressed nice but then I end up washing my face and putting sweats on and throwing my hair in a pony. I have also been getting really sick from about ten o'clock at night until I get home and finally fall asleep I don't ever throw up but my stomach kills me. The doc always told me he thinks that I am going to go early but 10 weeks early that's crazy!! I am up worried sick that my little boy is going to have to spend the first month in the hospital it is making me sick!! And my wonderful husband has been so good with me and my moods but I don't think he fully understands what is going on... I know he doesn't want me to go early and to have the baby in the hospital I know that but he doesn't feel the baby kick in a weird way and all the things that are going on in my body, that's not his fault but it's just hard to explain to him that something not normal just happened and I don't know what to do about it or if it is really serious and I don't want to make him worry either. I'm just not feeling myself and I hate it!! Hopefully the lil man will be good and wait 10 weeks till I am full term I would even be happy with 8 or 9 but to come in 3 weeks I am not ready so stay in there little man, Mommy loves you and wants to see you oh so much but I can't wait 10 weeks :)

Been a while...

It has been a while since I have posted anything and this one won't be very long but I figured it is better than nothing. So here are just a few highlights
~ We got married!!!
~ We found out we are having a baby BOY!!!
~ We are going to buy a house!
~ I love my new job at american express!!
So those are just the highlights it seems like a lot more has been going on! Tyler is still working out of town... So trying to look at houses is hard he is only home every other weekend so we jam our days with looking at houses! We are hopefully going to decide this weekend if we are going to buy or if we are going to build a house in my parents neighborhood! The only down thing about building is that it more than likely won't be done till the baby is a month or two old but the plus side more time to save money! So we will see we know everything will work out the way it is suppose to! That is all for now short and sweet but we are SSSSOOO Happy!! I have the perfect hubby who does anything to make me happy, an amazing daughter who reminds me to laugh and to not worry about the little things and how it doesn't matter how a person looks or act you need to say hello and smile to everyone, and a handsome little man that we are so excited to welcome in July :) Life is good......

Payton is going to have a lil bro or sis!!!

Yes it's true, we are expecting another little bundle of joy the beginning of August!! Even though it was not planned we could not be more excited!!! Payton thinks she is having a brother, so we will see. Now for the sad news I was pregnant with twins but I did lose one :( We are sad but also grateful that there is still one healthy baby there... Other than that me being pregnant has been great! I am very lucky with Payton and this little one I do not feel sick at all! Don't really even feel prego, besides this one I seem to be showing a lot faster! But that's fine by me I love the cute preggers belly! I am nervous to have 2 kids close in age but also very excited that they will be close!! I know Payton will be a great big sister! She already loves to kiss my belly and tell it hello :) And I know Tyler will be just an awesome dad to the new one just as he is to Payton! I just love my growing family!!

Been a while...

So it has been a while since I last updated I have been super busy! And I am to busy right now to upload pics so this is just going to be a writing post :( So first off I have a new job I have been at this job for about 5 weeks now and I love it! I do miss the girls from my old job but hopefully I can keep in touch with them! Tyler is loving work he is going to St George next week and not sure how long he will be gone but he is excited that he will be working with some of his friends that have been at different job sites. Now little miss Payton! Oh how that girl makes me so happy! Even tho she is hitting the terrible 2's she is still a very good girl! She is in dance and her first performance is this weekend!! She loves dance and will come home and show me the new things she learns :) Christmas is around the corner and I am proud to say that I am all done with Christmas shopping! All the presents are wrapped and good to go! This is a great feeling for me because I usually put things off till the last minute! Well that is all the time I have for now I will upload pics soon!!

Been a while....

So it's been a while since I last blogged.. There has just been a lot going on, but I am back! First off my grandma had a heartattack and has been in the hospital she lives in Idaho so trying to get off work and time to go see her has been hard but I am lucky enough to have gone up there. She was in the hospital for over a week but they just sent her home on Saturday :) My little brother's football season has begun again.. This is his 2nd year of playing it and he loves it! He is such a stud! He plays both offense and defense so he is pretty sweaty after the game! Here are some pics...
